Will Someone Please Remove This Dagger From My Heart?

Yesterday Juliette's teacher noted that she had a rough morning; she cried a lot and didn't want to play. I decided to ask her about it.

Me: "Juliette, did you have a rough morning? Did you cry?"

Juliette: "Yes, mommy. I sad."

Me: "You were sad? Why were you sad?"

Juliette: "Because I wanted you, mommy."

Ooohhmpph. It isn't just Mom's who are good at the guilt game. Juliette, at 2 1/2, is an expert.
