Not much solo time for me this weekend... despite the title of the post. However, we did enjoy ourselves today, despite the new leak in our roof that I discovered this morning (when I stepped in a large puddle of water as I was putting the laundry away in our closet)(Our closet? Is on the second floor. The leaky roof? Is above the third floor office.) We watched the Wizard of Oz. It was the first time I've watched it since
seeing (and
reading) Wicked, which gave me a weird new perspective. (Liked Dorothy and Glinda less, liked the witch more.) However, the girls were unencumbered by such a dichotomous viewpoint, and they actually really enjoyed the movie. But the main escitement of the day was the additional snow fall which turned our yard into a magical wonderland.
The view from Cosette's room, can you see the Christmas tree lights twinkling in the bottom corner?:

The room from the windows behind the Christmas tree- no one is using those Adirondack chairs these days!

It looks like it'll be a white christmas!
