Milestones

Juliette got her first real boo-boo over the weekend; two scraped knees. We were outside planting flowers when I heard her shrieking and shouting "Mommy"- in pain and surprise. I had to wash them, put band aids on, and give her a popsicle. Then I had to hold her for half an hour, which I admit I actually enjoyed since she doesn't usually sit still for that long anymore. It was even worth the snot, tears, and popsicle juice I had all over me afterwards! This occurred on Saturday, and since then I've heard "Ow, Mommy, hurts me" 50 more times, and gone through 12 band-aids. My daughter, the drama queen, has learned how to milk it for all its worth!
