Post-holiday crash

Phew. The christmas chaos is over, now we only have to deal with the New Year. It was a great and busy week, filled with family, food and of course... presents. Despite our attempts to limit the gift giving, the cumulative affect of 5 christmas parties resulted in a large number of gifts and the development of "Gimme more!" attitude in my two spoiled daughters.

However, it was a wonderful week, overall, and for the most part the girls were little angels. The biggest surprise of the week came on Christmas Eve when Juliette put on a dress with barely any fuss, and then confessed to her Auntie Ally that she actually kinda liked it... as long as people didn't keep telling her it was pretty. But... it was pretty... see for yourself:


Cosette, of course, had no problem with the dress. The frillier the better, and as long as they have a good spin factor- which these did- she is very pleased.




Now I have to stop procrastinating; I've been putting all the new toys in a pile in the playroom and shutting the door. The time has come to actually put it all away. I'm going in. It may take a while. Wish me luck...
