A mothers prayer of thanks… for ebay

All of the grandparents recently returned from vacations in Mexico, bringing back various fun gifts for the girls. Juliette was playing with her streamer ball- a rubber bouncy ball with a blue mylar streamer tail- joyfully taunting the cat and narrowly avoiding windows and other breakable objects, when the inevitable happened: the streamers ripped from the rubber ball.

She immediately burst into tears. "Mommy! You have to go to Mexico!" she cried, "Look what happened!"

I reassured her, then suggested that instead of flying off to Mexico, maybe I could find it on the internet. She sniffled, wiped her tears, and nodded "On the internet from Mexico?" she asked. "yes, of course" I replied. Imagine her joy when, after searching "streamer balls" (moderate safe search turned ON!), we found them on ebay.

I then spent the next 20 minutes trying to remember my ebay ID and password, and another 20 trying to remember by paypal ID and password. But it is done. We will have not one, not two, but 36 streamer balls arriving at our door in a week or so, shipping out of a novelty shop in Utah, not Mexico. At which point I might be cursing ebay.
