We evacuated our house yesterday for a few hours while it was open, and took refuge at my in laws. The girls had a blast, and we even got Cosette into the pool. It wasn't that she was afraid of the water, it was that she couldn't get over that initial cold feeling. Finally, we just dunked her in quickly, and after a brief 'aaahhhggg!", she was quite happy to stay in until she was shivering and her lips were blue with cold. Juliette, on the other hand, was happy to jump right in.
Looking at these pictures made me think of similar pictures we took one day last summer, and looking back at those made me realize how much the girls have grown! Sigh. It all goes so quickly.
