Sunday was hot hot hot, and since our cousins were up from Florida, we spent the day at Nonna's, engaged in various water activities. It was fun, and it reminded me of the days when my family would go on camping trips with my Uncle Dave and cousins Heather, Jason and Ben. Us kids would be off running around the campground, swimming, and playing all day, while the parents did... whatever adults do on those kinds of vacations (besides try to keep track of their kids). Now, Ben's three girls were playing with my daughters, and baby Aliza watched; it was a twilight zone deja vu; it felt like those fun summer days of my youth only now... now we are the grown ups!
The Cousins (minus Juliette, who was playing in the sandbox).

Juliette is becoming quite a swimmer; now, she'll jump in and swim around without any help:
Cosette loves her baby cousin, Aliza:
They were running around so much, they needed a little something to keep their energy up. Dessert, anyone? (Aka Chickie, the snake)(Juliette named it).
