Two birthday parties later, Juliette doesn't know which toys to play with first. We haven't even opened some of them yet!
As an aside: It is funny- as I scroll through these photos I notice a few people missing, despite their continual presence at all (birthday) events: Nonna, Auntie Alli, Auntie Lisa, Uncle Russ, and... me. Still, their presence can be detected everywhere: Uncle Russ serenaded Juliette with her new guitar and then tried to teach her a few basics (ie, how to hold it the right way.). Auntie Alli is always willing to watch the girls put on their shows, and of course she brought our good friend Grace to the birthday party; Auntie Lisa provided Juliette with one of her favorite gifts- the guitar- and also is always accompanied by baby Aliza, whose company is always met with glee. Nonna is always present- behind the scenes- and gave Juliette the cool geologist kit with the hard hat, hammer, goggles, and geodes to crack open; not to mention the scooter. I think she'd have that scooter in bed with her if she could! The microscope that Mimi and Poppy bought will be a big hit- as soon as we open it and she realizes what it is! And then there is me; I know I'm appreciated when Juliette calls me her "heart of joy". That, and all those smiles I see, fills my heart with joy!

Some of us enjoy being behind the scenes & letting the kids shine.(As it should be)That's what gives us our biggest joy.Love all the pictures.Will be looking at these many times.

Heart of joy! That is so incredibly sweet! I loved these pictures, you can tell in each and every one just how much fun Juliette (and everyone around her) is having! Happy Birthday Munchkin! :)
Holy toledo. I cannot believe Juliette - the little baby I met at just a few weeks old - is SIX!!!!
She looks SO grown up on her scooter in that first photo!
