First day of First Grade

First grade!  My goodness! I remember the difficulty we had starting kindergarten last year; I feared the worst for today.  But, it all went quite well:  Juliette got up, got ready, got on the bus, and didn't complain a single time.

Next year, Cosette will get to go on the bus, too!

Juliette was trying to be cool, which meant not smiling for the camera.  I had to catch this grin on the sly.
